Bridge City Apparel was founded by Greg and Mike — two guys who spent a combined 27 years in San Francisco before landing in Portland and becoming neighbors.

Mike logged 18 years in the city. Greg, 9 years. Neither knew the other existed — but odds are they crossed paths at McKinley Square in Potrero Hill more than once.

Between them they've crossed the Golden Gate on a bike over 100 times. Early mornings, into Marin, back before the tourists woke up. The bridge wasn't a landmark to them — it was a commute, a ritual, a Saturday morning.
